A great place with great food. I'd like to praise a waiter, Alexander Morrison, a polite and sensitive young man. He noticed I was struggling with all the noise generated by the patrons of a crowded foyer bar, and asked if I needed peace and quiet. I replied in the affirmative, and he asked me to follow him. He took me to a quiet lounge, and sat me down. Thanks Alexader, you made my night special.

Updated review: Years later and I am still loving this property. The staff are always very attentive and welcoming. The newly refurbished king rooms are lovely, very homely. The new colour scheme is a lot darker than previously, maybe a little dark but I think it’s nice. I am looking forward to trying their new junior suites.

I stayed here a few weeks ago with my family. The hotel is very well located for access to the centre of Glasgow. The rooms were good, as was the bar/restaurant area. We have recently done a UK tour, staying at Many Hilton hotels, and this was by far the best in regards to alternatives to the executive lounge being closed for Diamond members (i.e. they provided great free food and drink substitutes in the bar - for the whole family). The children also received free goodies, which they really enjoyed (and was unexpected). The pool was also good (changing rooms needed a bit of updating, as they looked tired - but this wasn’t really a big issue as they were clean.) I would definitely stay again.

Visited for an afternoon tea and spa. We were served by Miguel who was so professional, happy and pleasure to have as our server that day. The sandwiches and small cakes were perfect and the choice of teas was endless. Had a quick hour in the spa before returning for a cocktail. Would highly recommend the afternoon tea here

Didn’t stay at the hotel but visited for afternoon tea. Excellent service from Natalie, Miguel and Xavier, they went above and beyond to ensure our experience was enjoyable. Afternoon tea was delicious especially the pastries. Would definitely recommend this. Special thanks to the three above mentioned staff our experience was memorabl
